Royals is the Single of her first ever EP, The Love Club. This indie pop song got me right away on my first time hearing it. This mid-tempo song can set you to your carefree state when you listening to this song in the middle of hectic day, even though it's no necessarily a chill song.
2. Little Letters by Paper Aeroplanes from Little Letters (2013)
Little Letters is a track from the same titled third album of Paper Aeroplanes. This is absolutely a great track that you should check out in case you haven't. Sarah Howells' voice really complimenting the majestic vibe that the song has. This song is one of those song that gave you the atmosphere of being in those legend movie like Narnia or in Game Of Thrones to be honest in my very humble opinion hehe.
3. Please Don't Say You Love Me by Gabrielle Aplin from English Rain (2013)
Please Don't Say You Love Me is the second Single from Gabrielle Aplin's debut studio album "English Rain". It's absolutely a beautiful song with beautiful vibe and lyric. The guitar and piano really shines along to Aplin's delicate voice. The lyric really took my full interest. The title make it a little bit sounds like a unrequited love song, when the actual story is about girl who was to scared to be in love too fast. This whole thing is a sweet package of music.
4. Ralph Macchio by Annie from The A&R EP (2013)
Ralph Macchio is a track from Annie's First EP "The A&R". This is a very interesting song. Like her other's song, this song gave you the hip era of the 80's vibe. And the lyric that use Ralph Macchio who used to have his highest popularity in the 80's is absolutely helping the whole 80's vibe. New Age song that gave the Old School atmosphere will always be da sh*t.
5. Clean Light by The Mowgli's from Waiting For The Dawn (2013)
Clean Light is a track from The Mowgli's second studio album titled Waiting For The Dawn. If you enjoy Capital Cities music, you'll enjoy theirs to. Clean Light is one of my favorite track of the album,
beside San Francisco and Hi, Hey There, Hello. But somehow this song got the most place in my head than the other. Probably because this song got the perfect tempo, it's a fast-tempo song just like San Francisco but it's not to loud or sound rush for me, it's just perfect. Definitely a song you can listen to hear in a joyful day.
6. XOXO (Kisses & Hugs) by EXO from XOXO The First Album Repackage (2013)
XOXO is a track from EXO's First Album Repackage. Like most of the K-Pop songs, this song is, no doubt, a sweet song that will make you draw a slight smile on the face of yours. But, this song bring the sweetness to the whole new level with it's lyric. The raps part too actually help in deliver the sweet message for having a pretty gentle rap instead of an intense one. Also, Kyungsoo and Baekhyun's ad-libs were like the sprinkles on your donuts.
7. 대.다.나.다.너 (G.R.8.U) by VIXX from Jekyll The First Repackage EP (2013)
대.다.나.다.너 is the title song of VIXX's Jekyll which is their First Mini Album Repackage. I've always amused by VIXX's title songs for each comeback, this one has did the same. This song definitely the best VIXX's song for me so far. The song really brings a cheerful and bright atmosphere for the intro to the outro. It makes you can't help your self but thing of happy though while jamming to it.
There it is, my first ever songs recommendation post I've made. I'm not sure I, myself, even know what was I'm talking about. But one thing for sure, I really appreciates those song. I hope you'll like it too.
